British Bars in Benidrom

With sunny Benidorm on Spain’s Costa Blanca attracting huge numbers of British tourists each year it’s not surprising it plays host to many British bars for visitors to enjoy. British holidaymakers are not renowned for being the most adventurous, and most tend to stick with what’s familiar. So, when looking for a ‘watering hole’ to frequent while on holiday many Brits are attracted to British style or themed bars and pubs to quench their thirst and socialise with like minded people. Over the years many British bars and pubs have sprung up around Benidorm, some of which are detailed in this post.

Plates are filled to the brim with tasty homemade food at very reasonable prices and ‘Sunday roasts’ are available every day of the week.

This pub has an enormous menu with something for all tastes and serves breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners until late at night. Service is friendly and extremely quick with staff ‘bending over backwards’ to accommodate their guests.

The bar and restaurant are bright and airy with plenty of seating both inside and out. They offer a great choice of drinks starting at just €1 for a bottle of beer and €1.50 for a pint! The only criticism of John & Joseph’s could be that it doesn’t quite have that traditional British pub feel to it.

The Drop Inn

This charming little British pub is easy to find on Calle Londres. The Drop Inn has both indoor and terrace seating and a lovely layout and decor scheme. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the drinks, ice cold and reasonably priced. The Drop Inn boasts four large screen TVs on which patrons can follow their favourite live sports. This is a very easy going and friendly pub which doesn’t get too loud and rowdy like some of the other British bars in Benidorm.

The Stretford End Pub

All the walls inside the spacious bar interior are adorned with Manchester United memorabilia including autographed football jerseys, photographs and match programs.
