Benidorm Hotels

Benidorm hotels take up a large portion of the city and its skyline of high rise buildings can be seen for miles. The city's beaches and attractions offer something for everyone, with solo travellers visiting on business trips or to enjoy the wide range of water and adventure sports, couples on romantic weekends dining on fine cuisine, families spending fun days on the beaches, and groups out to party and make the most of the city's pubs and clubs.

Something For Everyone

No matter what your preference, Benidorm hotels are extremely diverse and offer accommodation options to suit all tastes, from backpacking hostels to five star resorts. Some hotels are adult only and geared towards the more discerning traveller looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Others are the total opposite and welcome children with open arms, boasting Kids Clubs, adventure playgrounds, water slides and teams of friendly entertainment staff who organise games, competitions, discos, singing and loads of other fun stuff for the young ones.

Theme & Resort Hotels

For the ultimate holiday experience, some of Benidorm's theme and resort hotels are absolutely magical and offer so many services and facilities it is possible to enjoy your entire holiday without even leaving the resort's grounds. Some are based around a single theme such as music, with jazz bars, rock cafe's and musical themed decor and guest rooms.

Others such as Meliá Villaitana need to be seen to be believed, offering every luxury you could think of and outstanding facilities including several golf courses, man made beaches and lakes, water parks, numerous bars and restaurants, shops, boutiques, beauty salons, gymnasiums, spa complexes and a choice of accommodation fit for a king.

For an unforgettable family holiday it doesn't get better than the Polynesian style resort that is actually built within the grounds of Magic Natura Water & Animal Park. It boasts beautiful theme lodges built into the natural landscape, with outdoor private Jacuzzi's where guests can enjoy a glass of bubbly while watching the elephants and other animals. Every whim is catered for with several swimming pools, fantastic entertainment and a choice of bars and restaurants.

4 & 5 Star Hotels

Benidorm hotels include a selection of four and five star establishments, most front line to the beach with an excellent variety of guest rooms and facilities. Depending on the location, some offer extensive landscaped gardens set around attractive swimming pools where guests can enjoy waiter service or, in some cases not even leave the pool to enjoy a drink, just swim up to the poolside bar. Other luxury facilities offered in these hotels include indoor heated pools, fitness centres, spa & beauty complexes and a range of sporting facilities.

Internally the hotels are just as impressive with shops and boutiques, conference centres, libraries and games rooms, several bars and restaurants, extensive lounges and 24hr reception areas offering a range of services, including room service of course. Guest rooms and suites boast luxurious furnishings, all the mod cons, and even services such as a choice of pillows.

2 & 3 Star Hotels

Other than unrated hotels many of which are holiday apartments, the majority of Benidorm hotels fall under this category and are especially popular with families. They can be found throughout the city and old town, most close to the beach and others within walking distance. They really are a mixed bag of establishments and visitors considering booking a two or three star hotel should look around before making a decision.

Some could be just a few metres from the beach and have a swimming pool but less guest room and hotel facility options, whereas others can be a good 20 minute walk from the beach, have no swimming pool but upgraded guest rooms and a good selection of facilities. The owners and management of these hotels understand they are a popular choice with families and tend to make entertainment a priority, which always gives guests that holiday feel and makes for a wonderful social environment where lifelong friendships are often formed.

Even if a hotel doesn't feature a swimming pool, they will normally have some sort of games and entertainment for the young ones, and evening entertainment for adults. Some have games rooms or libraries and all have at least one bar and a cafe or buffet style restaurant. Guest rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathroom and comfortable, if somewhat basic furnishings. 24hr reception desks are the norm in Benidorm hotels and offer a range of services such as tourist information, car and bike hire, ticket booking and luggage storage.
