Situated in the picturesque Natural Park of the Sierra de Mariola, about 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Benidorm, the campsite is the perfect setting for nature enthusiasts, bird watchers, hiking and mountain biking. Surrounded by forest and mountains, the area enjoys a diverse variety of flora & fauna and due to its location can get extremely cold during the winter months with temperatures dropping to -15 Celsius, at times covering the campsite in a blanket of snow.
Camping Mariola Facilities
Main Complex – The large main complex has a reception and tourist information where you can hire fridges and mountain bikes. The large bar serves a good range of local and imported beverages and the restaurant offers a varied menu as well as popular snacks. There is a small supermarket that stocks all your daily necessities, newspapers, camping equipment and gas bottles. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite.
Gardens – The campsite gardens have shady areas to relax and enjoy a picnic, barbecue zone, children's playground, sports court, large outdoor swimming pool and 2 children's pools with large grass areas for sunbathing. There is also children's entertainment during the summer months. Paintball, group hikes, various adventure sports and horse riding can be arranged.
Camping Pitches – Within the grounds there are 190 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with available water and electricity. There is also 42 seasonal plots and an open camping area for tents. There are ample clean ablution blocks with heating, hot water and dish washing basins.
Bungalows – For a more comfortable stay, Camping Mariola offer guests 18 fully equipped wooden bungalows with private terraces. They comprise 1 main room that sleeps 2 or 4 persons, kitchen with fridge, and a bathroom with shower, WC and hand basin. The bungalows have heaters, parking space and terrace furniture.
Natural Park – The Natural Park of the Sierra de Mariola surrounds the campsite and abounds in beautiful flora & fauna with numerous hiking trails through the valleys and mountains. There are crystal clear mountain streams and rivers where you can swim and kayak, as well as great bridleways for horse riding.
