What better way to get off the beaten track and explore the natural beauty of Benidorm’s countryside than a Jeep Safari. Being such a popular holiday destination, Benidorm offers a whole host of excellent attractions and activities to enjoy, wonderful sandy beaches and fantastic nightlife. Many holidaymakers never even get out of the city centre, preferring to spend their days swimming and soaking up the sun, and their nights partying in the bars and clubs. This is a shame, as the diverse countryside around Benidorm is really quite beautiful and there is just so much to see.
Marco Polo Expediciones
Often featured on Trip Advisor, Marco Polo Expediciones offer a wide variety of exciting adventures, sports and water sports, as well as tailor made days out. Their Jeep Safari is one of their most popular activities and will take you past ancient villages, through rugged mountains, lush valleys, riverbeds and canyons. There is the choice of enjoying the safari as a passenger in one of their jeeps that have seating capacity for 8 persons, or you can experience the thrill of off-roading as a driver yourself.
Jeep Safari Itinerary
Pick Up – Passengers will be picked up at their hotel at 09:30. Drivers need to be at Marco Polo Expediciones office at 09:30 to be allocated their vehicle.
Morning Safari – Once everyone is set and ready to go, it’s a drive out of the city and into the countryside where you will enjoy a mix of windy mountain roads and rugged off road tracks as you pass through some spectacular scenery with the chance of some great photo opportunities. You will pass by the turquoise lake that lies in the Guadalest Valley on the way to the lunch stop.
Lunch – The jeeps stop at around midday for refreshments and a bite to eat at a picturesque mountain restaurant. Here you have the choice of lunch in the restaurant or you can bring your own picnic lunch.
Afternoon Safari – The drive continues through valleys and gorges as you wind your way further into the mountains where there is another stop at the stunning Algar Waterfalls for an icy cold dip in the mountain stream (don’t forget your swimwear). The views of the falls and surrounding Natural Reserve are spectacular so be sure to bring your camera for some memorable photos. After everyone is suitably rested and refreshed, it’s back down the mountains for your return journey.
Drop Off – Passengers will be dropped off at their hotel at around 17:00 and drivers will return the vehicle to Marco Polo Expediciones office.
