In the world of water sports, activities and adventures, thrill seekers just can't get enough and new inventions just keep getting better, faster and crazier such as the latest exciting water activity, the Flying Fish. With Benidorm being a mecca for budget package holidays, party crowds, stag & hen do's and adrenaline fuelled activities, adventure tour operators and water sports activity centres need to be on top of their game as competition can be fierce. Fortunately for Benidorm's holidaymakers most of the companies that run these activities keep up with all the modern trends, and it doesn't take long after a new water sport activity has hit California's beaches for instance, for it to become available in Benidorm.

The Flying Fish

The flying fish is an innovate take on the age old beach favourite, the Banana Boat. Rather than being a long banana shaped inflatable, the fish is a flat rectangle inflatable, with stabilising ribs incorporating hand holds and foot rests connected by the main flared rubber base. Towed by a speed boat, once the wide rubber base starts to catch the wind as the boat gets faster, the fish starts to fly above the water, making for an exciting challenge for the rider to stay on, or ditch into the sea.

Established for over 30 years, Carlos Water Sports have outlets on both of Benidorm's main beaches and offer a selection of water activities including the flying fish. The company operate their activities from mid May to the end of October, from 10:00 – 20:00 daily and their 2 outlets are easily recognised by the yellow star on Levante Beach, and the green star on Poniente Beach.
